Long Story Short is a new half-hour human interest program, produced by the multi-Emmy winning team at Cincy Stories, featuring short documentaries focused on the many people who call the Cincinnati and Dayton region home.
Q-Kidz at blink
In this story we follow the West End dance team on the day of their performance at Blink Cincinnati. They've been preparing and practicing for months. Now the big night has come and for a lot of the girls their very first performance will be in front of thousands. In the end it's the incredible sisterhood they have that not only gets them through the parade ... but also home.
The Lion's Den
Over 2019, we've been working in the West End to share the stories of people who call that community home. The first one is called The Lion's Den and follows former world champion Frank Rhodes and his Queen City Boxing team through an intense competition.
Stop and just breathe
We recently gained some amazing new neighbors across the hall from our office in WordPlay Cincy. This is the first of hopefully many collaborations we will work on in the future! This short film tells the story of one Cincy morning from the point of view of local high school poet Keshawn Townsend.
Cincy Stories in partnership with People's Liberty presents the story of RISE News and Tracy Brumfield. A recovering heroin addict, Tracy receives a $100,000 grant to create a newspaper for addicts and the incarcerated. Watch her inspiring story from nurses aid to community leader.

Street Stories: Price Hill
Street Stories was started as a way to both archive the stories of Cincinnati’s many neighborhoods as well as provide avenues for individuals to have a voice by sharing their story. We believe that stories are the key to empathy and understanding. Click "Watch Now" to watch and listen to the stories we collected in Lower, East and West Price Hill.
